Youth Action Team Volunteers at Newton County Schools Special Education Back to School Event | August 2025

💜 Supporting Every Student on Their Journey

On Friday, August 1, 2025, members of the Youth Action Team (YAT) volunteered at the Newton County Schools Special Education Back to School Event. Five YAT members and two adult advisors helped elementary-aged students create sensory items and led a variety of interactive game stations to make the day extra special for students and families.

🤝 A New Volunteer Partnership

This event marked a new volunteer opportunity for the YAT, giving youth leaders hands-on experience in supporting peers with diverse abilities. Their enthusiasm and teamwork left a strong impression — and the event organizer has already invited YAT to assist at future events!

🌟 Building a More Inclusive Community

By creating connections, sharing joy, and encouraging inclusivity, these YAT members reflected the mission of the Newton Community Partnership: fostering youth engagement, service, and community resilience throughout Newton County.
