Red Ribbon Week at NCCA 2024

Two Youth Action Team members who attended the 2024 Georgia Teen Institute (GTI) took the lead in organizing Red Ribbon Week activities at Newton College and Career Academy—an exciting first for a school that typically doesn’t participate in Red Ribbon Week. Their initiative brought substance use prevention into the spotlight during Flex Day, setting the stage for future events. We’re proud of their leadership and plan to expand efforts next year by involving our Drug-Free Community Coalition (DFCC) partners.
