During Red Ribbon Week, Drug-Free Community Coalition (DFCC) partners teamed up with Newton High School to promote substance use prevention. YAT volunteer Elizabeth played a key role by leading lunch-period activities and sharing important facts about the dangers of vaping and alcohol. Her peer-led approach helped engage students and spark meaningful conversations. Red Ribbon Week at Newton High was a strong example of youth and community collaboration in action.
