Newton County YAT Continues NARCAN Prevention Video Planning

The Newton County Youth Action Team's NARCAN prevention video is moving from concept to reality.

On January 30, 2026, seven YAT members gathered for a second planning session to continue developing the skit for their upcoming prevention video. The group worked to flesh out scenes and nail down specifics for filming, with students actively collaborating on the script and story structure during the 1.5-hour meeting.

The project is a creative, peer-driven effort to raise awareness about NARCAN and opioid overdose prevention — told in a voice that resonates with other young people.
