Accelerated Reader:
Description: Accelerated Reader is a computer-based program that builds fluency in reading using a point based motivational component. Each student sets a goal at the beginning of the year estimating how many books they will read. As students complete each book, they take a comprehension exam on the computer. For each test they pass, they receive points, which are accumulated and can be exchanged for rewards.
