Newton County Youth Summit

Hands on Newton in partnership with the Newton County School Board and the United Way have teamed up to host a Youth Summit for Newton County High School students from the ages of 14-18 years old. The Summit will focus on lending an ear to students and providing a critical outlet so they can share their feelings and thoughts about what is going on the community. There will be a series of workshops dedicated to teaching students how to face troubles which they might encounter during their lifetime. The purpose of the summit is to give the students of Newton County a viable ear and outlet for their thoughts as well as instruction to help them deal with those issues.
