Chimney Park Clean-up:

Help get Chimney Park ready to ***TWINKLE*** for the Holidays!

In preparation for Twilight at Chimney Park (Sunday, December 6 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm) Friends of Newton Parks has asked for volunteers to help prepare the property located behind Newton County Public Library on Floyd Street, Covington, GA.

Workdays are schedu led from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays, November 7, 14, and 21 and December 5.   

This project is appropriate for: adults and children 4th grade and older. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Water and a snack provided. Insect repellant and work/gardening gloves strongly recommended (a limited number of gloves will be available for loan).
